EveryChild California is proud to present our annual UPK - UTK Leadership Symposium. This event brings leaders of UPK and UTK together with Community Partners to elevate the quality of early learning programs in their community. This 2-day event will support you and your agency in serving your community's youngest learners and their families with engaging dialogue, helpful resources, and vital connections with community partners. Join us and learn together with the brightest, most experienced ECE minds our field has to offer.

This event will include:

  • A Community Expo designed to support you in building relationships with community partners who are poised to help you to deliver UPK in your community

  • Case studies of successful community partnerships

  • Invited speakers from CDE on latest updates and best practices to support high-quality UPK/TK for your families

  • Workshop sessions on funding full-day UPK services

  • Conversation on health and safety in the TK classroom

  • Presentations on recruiting workforce and growing leaders within UPK/TK

  • Resources for creating developmentally appropriate, play-based curricula
